Lydia’s new dog collar from SewCrazyDogLady.com!

Lydia is has been strutting around like little a hot little canine supermodel today. Well, ya know…that’s nothing new really…she pretty much does that every day, but today she has something extra to add to her swagger. She’s sporting a brand new collar…it’s colorful and girly with just a touch of glitter…what more could a girl ask for huh?! She’s an absolute glamour girl! (again, nothing new, but the collar is stunning!)

Both of us were in need of a little glitz in our lives after Lydia’s cancer diagnosis just a few weeks ago, so I turned to one of my blogging buddies…Jen, the SewCrazyDogLady.com. I wanted a special collar for Lydia so I gave Jen an idea of what I wanted and she came up with the perfect collar to brighten our lives up a bit. And to make sure I got a little glitter in my life too, she surprised me with a matching key chain!

Being a bit of an artist myself, I especially enjoy handcrafted items and am very happy for Lydia to be wearing such a cool collar. Jen does beautiful work, and it’s obvious she likes what she does. And, on a practical side, it’s sturdy and has the exact same type of fastener on it as the collar she’s had on for at least 5 years. So I expect Lydia’s new collar will be around for quite some time too…just like Lydia!
